Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend

Aren't these babies beautiful?

My Hubba Hub Hub gave me 18K diamond earrings two month ago as a birthday/anniversary present. I never had REAL diamond earrings before so I was super excited to get these bad girls. There's a diamond in the middle with little diamonds surrounding it that glisten and sparkle in the light. *sigh of happiness*

I don't wear these on a daily basis since they're a bit too fancy for everyday.. especially considering I wear thee most casual plain jane clothes on the market (hoodie, sweat pants, tights, boring, and boring). But to be honest, these earrings are soo pretty I don't even want to wear them everyday especially since they're real! I'm scared I might lose them!

Anyway I'm soo grateful for my hubsta not only for these diamonds but for being thee most amazing boyfriend I could ever ask for.

Nasty Gal Dress + New Specs

I purchased this dress from Nasty Gal a few months ago and still haven't worn this bad girl out yet. It's a bit too small cause when I sit down, the bottom of the dress rides a liiiiiittle too high. I would need to wear shorts underneath to avoid any wardrobe malfunctions. Overall though, really great dress, nice material, a nice mix of sexy but not too slutty. Haha.

I also bought new William Rast specs about a month ago from Clearly Contacts. To be honest I thought they would feel more sturdy or just be made out of better quality since it is Justin Timberlake's line. Oh well! I can't return it anymore..

Spring/Summer Scent Obession

Rio Rumberry from Bath and Body Works.

I am obsessed with this scent. I don't believe that a certain scent should only be for certain holidays or seasons, but this definitely reminds me of spring/summer because it's fruity, sweet, and yummy. The smell is a mix of berries and vanilla that makes you take a huge long whiff because it's THAT delicious.

Mind you, if you don't like fruity scents, then this is probably not for you. If you enjoy more flowery scents, I highly suggest Cherry Blossom which is another favourite of mine.

I don't rely on Bath and Body lotions alone as a moisturizer, especially for my body since my skin is sensitive. I actually put this on on top of my plain, non-scented, hydrating moisturizer before I go out or before I sleep so I can smell like delicious berries. Om nom nom.

Main Squeeze Hookah Date

- Date with my mister.
- First time doing Hookah, and I sucked, literally.
- One puff and I would cough my lungs out, don't be deceived by the picture with the smoke coming out of my nose. I have no idea what I'm doing.
- However, I would do it again.

Is it just me or is this week going by incredibly slow!?

Clear Gel Stiletto Nails

None of these are mine.. just ideas as to how I want my nails to be the next time I get a manicure. I absolutely LOVE the first picture!! I think the stiletto nail trend is so gorgeous.. because it makes your hands look really nice and feminine (if they're not too witchy that is).

I'm hoping my manicurist can do the first picture. I think it looks really clean and elegant. I'm so excited!!

Getting Better With Age

Not too long ago was my dad's 60th birthday. Both  my parents are now in their 60's.. which is crazy to think about because that just means I'm getting older too.. which means I'll be getting married and poppin' kids. Ah!

To get to your goal feels like forever, but once you're finally there, time goes by way too fast.

We celebrated with close friends and family. Below are some pictures from the party.

I got my nails done awhile ago, and yes, these are my real nails. It's easier to maintain longer nails with Shellac than using regular polish. It makes your nails harder and there's less of a tendency for them to break.

Ipad Mini Love

I LOVE my ipad mini. When it first came out I thought it was silly, but the actual weight and size is perfect for everyday.

The case that I bought is from Belkin, retails for $40. The case makes me love my mini even more.

I might do a favourite apps post. I love reading/watching what people have on their devices so I thought doing mine would be helpful for those with the same interests as me :)

I guess I'm a little late on the studded bag trend.. but better late than never!

I'm absolutely in love with my new handbag. It's the perfect size, not too big and not too small. However, the zipper opening is a little too small and hard to actually get things in/out. As you can see on the top photo, it tapers in just a little bit which is kind of annoying when you want to take things out of your bag.

The studs totally make up for it though..

Nastygal Velocity Dress Purchase

I've been a die hard fan for Nastygal lately. I've bought two dresses from them, a clutch, and I'm currently waiting for a beautiful bag to arrive on my doorsteps.

This beauty came in a while ago, but I haven't worn it yet. I was planning on wearing it for my birthday.. but I'm too lazy to actually "party hard" and go clubbing. I just want to have a nice, chill evening with my friendzies. Also, I have no idea why I ordered a small, I'm clearly a medium or a large. But with my breasts hanging out like that, I'm pretty sure no one will notice lmao.

Eyelash Extensions Lasting 1 - 4 Months

Last month, I decided to get eyelash extensions for the hell of it. The salon I went to was very inexpensive ($55 for extensions compared to $100+ in other salons). The whole process took about 1 hour. For 1 hour, you need to have your eyes closed the whole entire time as the person is adding the lashes one by one.

I dozed off a couple times but I would wake myself up since I didn't want to fall into deep sleep (mostly because I drool). After about an hour, she'll carefully open your eyes and use teeny tiny scissors (!?!?!?!) to cut and shape them if the lashes are out of place.

The overall experience was a bit uncomfortable since it was my first time (............... that's what she said). But for next time I'd know what to expect. It's been about a month now and I still have a couple lashes on. I've been a bad girl and haven't been taking care of them properly. If you do take care of them, they can last up to 4 months!!

My boyfriend is lucky because he has long, thick, luscious lashes.. whereas I have to pay $55 to get what he naturally has.. ugh.
